Calling all Girl and Boy Scouts earn your next badge in the arts at the Hunter Museum!
All About Printmaking!
November 21, 2009 k-3rd grade
January 23, 2010 4th-12th grade
10-12 p.m.
$15 per girl
Join the Hunter Museum for a printmaking workshop! Uncover patterns and prints in the museums diverse collection that will inspire your own print making designs as you learn about composition, line, texture, and value. Girl Scouts will see the museums collection and learn two different printmaking techniques that they can use to make unique cards, invitations, and scrapbook pages.
Activities and skills learned in this workshop can be put toward a Prints and Graphics or Visual Arts badge. Take home activities will be supplied so girls can complete the badge by requirements at home.
This workshop can get messy so dress appropriately.
